Associated with development of 6 rice varieties. These include 2 high yielding rice varieties (Jyotiprasad and Bishnuprasad) for growing in boro season, two medium duration high yielding rice varieties (Satyaranjan and Basundhara) for growing in sali season, particularly, in areas suitable for multiple cropping and 2 submergence tolerant sali rice varieties (Jalashree and Jalkuwari) that can withstand submergence for about two weeks.
Coordinated seed production programme of the University as the Nodal Officer of ICAR Seed Project and also as the Nodal Officer of Technology Showcasing/Participatory Seed Production Programme.
