  • Conferred “Best Extension Personnel” award by Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Assam and His Excellency Vice President of India presented the award in 2018-19
  • As Principal Investigator and Programme Coordinator of KVK - KVK Dhubri was selected as one of the 12 best NICRA KVKs in the country by ICAR and selected for participation in a special session on NICRA during the 7th National Conference of KVKs held at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, and Punjab in 2013.
  • As Principal Investigator and Programme Coordinator of KVK – The Village Climate Risk Management Committee (VCRMC) of KVK Dhubri under the project ‘National Initiative on Climate Resilient Agriculture’ was selected as the best VCRMC of Zone-III by ICAR. It was recognized and appreciated by ICAR during Second Annual Workshop of NICRA held at IARI, New Delhi on 17th June, 2013
  • As Head - KVK Bongaigaon was awarded as the “Best Krishi Vigyan Kendra” of Zone VI for outstanding performance in implementation CFLD of NFSM and NMOOP programme in 2018-19.

  • Popularization of HYVs of Toria ‘TS 36’ and ‘TS 46’ in the farmer’s field through demonstration programme starting from 2015-16 in 3 villages covering 48 farm families with horizontal expansion to 27 villages covering 452 farmers in 2020-21.
  • Popularization of low cost vermicomposting technology was initiated by KVK Bongaigaon for organic input production in 11 villages with 15 farmers during 2016 -17 through training and demonstration which has been adopted by the farmers in cluster approach in 42 villages of the district covering 252 farmers in 2020-21
  • Popularization of Medium duration Rice variety ‘Shraboni’ for promotion of double cropping covering 14 farm families in 5 villages in 2017-18 with horizontal expansion to 21 villages among 167 farm families in 2019-20.
  • Introduction and popularization of rabi pulses in Rice – fallow areas for promotion of double cropping through demonstration, training and advisory services in 24 villages with 372 farm families
  • Popularization of Submergence tolerant Rice variety ‘Ranjit Sub 1’ for covering 7 farm families in 4 villages in 2017-18 with horizontal expansion to 14 villages among 186 farm families in 2019-20.
