Fruit Science
The Department of ‘Fruits Science’   under the College of Horticulture and Farming System Research  of  Assam Agricultural University was established in the year 2014. Initially,the  department was functioning from Jorhat headquarter of the University  and during  March,2023  the College  was shifted to its permanent  campus at Lakhopur,Nalbari. Since its creation, the department is actively associated with the teaching, research and extension activities. Fruit Science  is being taught in UG level with semester system of education.
