1. Achieved Gold Medal (Dr K.K. Subbiah Award from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore) for 'Best thesis in Rice Agronomy'. 2. Prepared Draft of Strategic Research and Extension Plan under 'support to State Extension Programme for Extension Reform' Scheme (ATMA) 2005-06 for ATMA district of Karimganj. 3. Published 20 nos. of research papers & articles, prepared 8 nos. of teaching & training manuals, 23 nos of research/extension bulletins (in local language Bengali for BVZ & in Assamese). 4. Experience of 4 years in research; about 4 years in extension works; 28 years in teaching and still continuing. 5. Acted as a Resource person (Agronomy) for BVZ, Assam; Master trainer for preparation of SREP for ATMA district, Karimganj; Farm Manager, Seed production Farm in RARS, Karimganj (2000 -2008) & Farm Manager, MSP, BNCA (2008- 2011)
