  • • Implementation of mega programme Technology show casing on rice during 2012-2014 in Kokrajhar District through KVK Kokrajhar which was able to enhance production and productivity of rice. • Successfully Organising more than 8 workshops on Petroleum product conservation among the farmers during 2015 to 2020. • Acted as Nodal Officer of Doubling the Farmers Income (DFI) programme from 2017-2021. • Acted as Nodal Officer in the programme Diploma in Agricultural Extension Service for Input Dealers (DAESI) programme from 2020-2021. • Acted as Nodal Officer of DAMU Unit, KVK, Baksa and KVK, Barpeta • Attended 3 nos. of summer/winter school (63 days) • Attended 14 nos. of refresher course/research methodlogy course/ training (50 days) • Attended 17 nos. of seminars/conferences • More than 230 nos. of training given to farmers, rural youths and extension functionaries as Course Director, Course Coordinator and Resource person • Involvement of more than 40 nos. of FLD programmes as lead and associated scientist • Involvement of 28 nos. of OFT programmes as lead and associated scientist • Involvement in organizing 38 nos. of field day programme on different scientific cultivation practices. • Organized and guided 5 nos. of exposure visit • Organized 7 nos. of Farmers-Scientist Interaction • Organized and conducted more than 25 nos. of PRA in different villages in Kokrajhar, Baksa and Barpeta District • Organized 17 nos. of awareness camp and Campaigns • Organized 5 nos. of exhibition and participated in 3 nos. • Organized 2 nos. of farmers Seminar • Involvement in organizing 3 nos. of technology week • Organizing of District Kisam Mela at Barpeta District during 2018-19 • Member-NAIP Sub-project entitled “Livelihood promotion through integrated farming system in Assam” monitoring committee implemented by AAU, Jorhat during 2010 to 2011 • Designated expert service provided to ATMA, Kokrajhar District during 2013. • Expert service provided through cell phone for farmers friends, farmers interest group and farmers of ATMA during 2013-14 • Recognized professional societies award for reviewing research article The above-mentioned activities have been carried out during my service tenure from 2008 to 2021. Besides the above-mentioned activities, nos. of other activities related to create awareness among the rural youths and farmers for adopting modern agricultural practices for their economic upliftment as well as betterment of their living standard.
