  • Best Centre award 2019-20 for research activities, publications,budget utilization under the Network Project "Conservation of Lac Insect Genetic Resources".in the 8th Annual Review meeting organized by ICAR-Indian Institute of Natural Resins and Gums, Ranchi (online mode) during 29-30th December, 2020
  • Received European fellowship under “AdaptNet” programme of Erasmus+ “Strengthening education, research and innovation for climate smart crops in India” funded by the European Union (Erasmus+) for one month training from 20th January to 15th February 2020
  • Under DST project, fungal based Bio formulation “Talcorganic” technology/process has been development from indigenous strain of Beauveria bassiana” for commercialization.
  • Lac insect species prevalent in Assam was identified as Kerria chinensis (Mahd.) through taxonomic and molecular characterization.
  • Cotesia ruficrus (Haliday)(Hymenoptera: Braconidae) a larval parasitoid of rice horned caterpillar, Melanitis leda (L.) (Lepidoptera :Nymphalidae) was first time identified and reported from rice ecosystem of Assam.
  • Received Best Poster Awards (Priyanka Saikia & Purnima Das) :Lac Based Indigenous Technical Knowledge of Assam in the “International Conference on Recent Advances in Agricultural Biological and Applied Science Research” organized by Society for Biotic and Environmental Reasearch (SBER) Tripura in collaboration with Nowgong College, Assam and ICAR-CAFRI, Jhansi. during 8th & 9th August 2022.
  • Received 1st prize in oral presentation "Lac insect Dye- A natural Source of Livelihood" in the International Conference on "Next-Gen Preparedness for Food Security and Environmental Sustainability" organized by Assam Agricultural University during November 22-24,2023 at AAU,Jorhat-13.Assam.
  • Received 2nd position (Rojja R.
