Students from Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Jorhat, have brought immense pride to both the state and the university by securing Gold and Silver medals in the Table Tennis Men’s and Women’s categories, respectively, at the ongoing XXII All India Inter-Agricultural Universities Sports & Games Meet, 2024-25. The prestigious event is being held at Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture & Technology in Kumarganj, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, with participation from 58 universities nationwide. A total of 30 students from all 9 constituent colleges of AAU participated in the competition, with notable contributions from professors Dr. Sailen Gogoi and Dr. Dharin Hazarika, who supported the athletes throughout the event.
