- 1. Received Netherland Government Fellowship in 1997 2.Received Netherland Government Fellowship in 2011 3. DBT project grants of 38.18 lakh on Preserving future genetic resources through capacity building of women farmer and utilization for livelihood improvement as PI 4.DBT project grants of lakh 18.68 on Morphogenetic Barcoding of Aromatic and Glutinous Rice varieties of Assam as PI 5..DBT project grants of lakh 16.68 on Genome and Transcriptome sequencing of Aromatic Rice from North Eastern Region” Group 3 as PI 6. International collaborative project on Development of High Zinc rice varieties Funded by ,IRRI, Philippines as PI 7. Member of National Monitoring Team of AICRP on Seed Science and Technology 8. Member of Editorial Board of Journal Seed research published of Indian society of Seed Science and Technology 9.Established 2 community seed banks at Jorhat and Golaghat districts. 10. Documentation of local germplasm has been done and farmer’s varieties were sent to PVPFR (Plant Variety Protection and Farmer’s right) Authority of India for registration and protection of farmer’s right. 11.Organization of Rice Diversity fair and Bhogali mela and seed fair for displaying more than 300 varieties of rice including 40 coloured rice varieties and for introduction of Annam – brahma self-help group registered by the project. His Excellency the Governor of Assam in an official press release appreciated the effort of the project activities towards highlighting values of our agricultural diversity and its utilization and conservation effort. 12. Involved in teaching UG and PG courses of Seed Science and Technology and Plant Breeding and Genetics 13. 13 M.Sc students and 2 Ph.D students are pursuing research under my guidance
