Frontline Demonstration

 Fronline demonstrations on oilseed and pulses as well as other field and horticultural crops were carried out to motivate farmers to adopt an established technology.   Demonstrations on oilseed  and pulses have been assigned by ICAR and other demonstrations were selected by KVK, Nalbari after careful study of the agricultural scenario of the district.  In all cases, the demonstrated technologies showed significantly higher yield over the traditional ones.  Many field days have been organized on field at the last part of the demonstrations.  On seeing the results farmers of the district are now adopting high yielding varieties of rice such as Luit, Ranjit  Rapeseed variety TS-36 and scientific management techniques of many field and horticultural crops are also adopted by them.
