During the year 2005-06, a total of 1218 KCC were issued in the district, through which more than 170 lakhs of rupees were availed by the farmers. Out of these 350 KCC were issued by Lakhimi Goanlia  Bank, 147 KCC were issued by the SBI, 658 KCC by UBI and 63 KCC were issued by the Allahabad Bank.

Govt. supportive schemes (SGSY) for the year 2005-06
Through govt supportive schemes, quite a big number of beneficiaries of the district received financial assistance for various activities. The members of different SHG reeived bank loan with 50% subsidy for veterinary activities like piggery, goatery, poultry and duckary; for horticulture activity, fihery and sericulture activities. District Rural Development agency (DRDA) has disbursed the loan amount to all beneficiaries’
