Administrative set-up

Dhemaji district is divided into two sub divisions visually Jonai and Dhemaji with geographical area of 103181 ha and 198130 ha respectively. The district has 5 blocks. The Dhemaji sub division has 50 gaon panchayat and 893 revenue villages and Jonai has 15 gaon pachayat and 242 revenue villages.
