Farm Advisory Service

The extension specialist and other extension staff of the Directorate provide technical guidance to farmers through individual, farm and home visit, personnel contact and correspondences. Similarly farmers including farm women regularly visit the university for seeking guidance in agriculture technology, animal production, live stock management, sericulture, home science and other farm problems and they are well attended by the university staff.Scientists also attend urgent call on farm problems encountered by Dept. of Agriculture, Veterinary, Fishery, and Sericulture etc.

A well-knit liaison also exist with different funding agencies such as NABARD, Nationalized Bank, DRDA, etc.
