A two-hour credit course on, "Application of Computers in Biotechnology" was introduced for the Post-graduate students of this University since 1990.

To familiarize scientists with the computer based information retrieval systems, trainings are being organized at this centre regularly. Till date 7(seven) National workshops cum trainings on Computer Application in different areas of Life Sciences have been organized by this centre since 1993. Scientists, Teachers, Administrators, Officers from different Universities and R&D organizations have attended the trainings/workshops.
